Achei todas, ou quase todas as formas de acessar o Gmail....isso pq eu estava tentando outro dia acessa-lo de uma maquina com Win98 de um colega meu de republica e era quase impossivel faze-lo funcionar por tempo suficiente para mudar pro modo apenas HTML, e como minha namorada tambem estava enfrentando a mesma dificuldade resolvi postar aqui, até mesmo pra consultas futuras, as maneiras de de acessar o gmail, inclusive a forma para entrar em apenas HTML direto.....segue abaixo....
